Terms of service.

Agreement

These terms govern your use of MetaCells websites, web app, desktop app, Hub marketplace, vector search and embedding services, mobile clients, APIs, automations, downloads, and related support services operated by SuperFolders Oy.

Operator

MetaCells is operated by SuperFolders Oy, Business ID 3336173-4, VAT FI33361734, Lapinlahdenkatu 16, 00180 Helsinki, Finland. Contact details are listed on the Contacts page.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account, credentials, connected services, OAuth grants, billing configuration, and activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep access credentials secure.

Acceptable use

You may use MetaCells only for lawful purposes. You must not abuse the service, bypass limits, probe security, upload malware, infringe rights, scrape without permission, send spam, overload shared infrastructure, or use automations to harm people, systems, or connected services.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including workbooks, files, prompts, formulas, outputs, marketplace assets, and channel data. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, display, transmit, back up, and operate that content.

Local deployments

Desktop and self-hosted or local services may run on your own device or infrastructure. You are responsible for local configuration, backups, security, provider keys, model downloads, storage locations, and any data you choose to send from local deployments to hosted or third-party services.

Marketplace

Hub marketplace submissions must be yours to share and must not include unlawful, confidential, harmful, misleading, or rights-infringing material. We may review, reject, unpublish, or remove submissions at our discretion.

Marketplace license

When you publish a Hub listing, you allow MetaCells to host, copy, display, preview, distribute, and promote the listing and its public media. Unless a separate license says otherwise, users receive only the rights needed to download, install, evaluate, and use marketplace assets with MetaCells.

Files and channels

You are responsible for files you upload and for permissions you grant to connected services. Public marketplace media may be visible to everyone. Package and document downloads may be protected by short-lived signed links and may be removed if they create security, legal, or abuse risk.

AI outputs

AI, embedding, voice, image, search, and automation outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unsuitable for your use case. You must review important outputs before relying on them for legal, financial, medical, compliance, safety, or operational decisions.

AI usage

You are responsible for prompts, files, context, and instructions sent to model providers through MetaCells. Managed AI usage may be measured, limited, retried, queued, cached, or declined based on balance, provider availability, safety, abuse prevention, or operational limits.

Third-party services

MetaCells may connect to providers such as model APIs, payment processors, storage providers, authentication providers, social networks, email, voice, card, communication, and marketplace services. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms.

Billing

MetaCells is primarily offered as B2B SaaS for business customers. Paid features, top-ups, managed AI usage, subscriptions, marketplace purchases, and payment methods may be subject to pricing, VAT, taxes, provider costs, usage limits, and payment processor rules shown at checkout or in the product.

Subscriptions and cancellation

Subscriptions renew until cancelled unless checkout says otherwise. You can stop using MetaCells at any time, but cancelling access does not automatically refund past charges, consumed usage, provider costs, marketplace purchases, or top-ups unless required by law or expressly stated at checkout.

Taxes and invoices

Prices may exclude VAT, sales tax, withholding, or similar taxes unless stated otherwise. VAT may be added at checkout. You are responsible for accurate billing details, tax information, and any taxes that apply to your purchase. Invoices and billing questions can be sent through the Contacts page.

Refunds and consumer rights

Refunds are handled according to the checkout flow, payment processor rules, and mandatory consumer law. Consumer rights may apply where required by law. Digital content, immediate service access, AI usage, top-ups, and downloaded marketplace assets may limit withdrawal or refund rights where the law allows.

Usage limits

We may apply rate limits, upload limits, download-token expiry, queue limits, provider timeouts, storage limits, moderation requirements, and other controls to protect reliability, security, cost, and fair access.

Service changes

We may change, improve, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, providers, models, marketplace entries, APIs, pricing, and availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Beta features

Some features may be experimental, preview, local-only, or developer-facing. Beta features may change without notice, lose data, produce unexpected results, or be withdrawn.

Intellectual property

MetaCells, its software, branding, documentation, design, and service infrastructure are owned by SuperFolders Oy or its licensors. These terms do not grant ownership of MetaCells intellectual property.

Termination

You may stop using MetaCells at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when required by law, security, abuse prevention, non-payment, risk to the service, or violation of these terms.

Disclaimers

MetaCells is provided as is and as available, without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. You are responsible for backups, review, compliance, and deciding whether the service is suitable for your use.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SuperFolders Oy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Helsinki, Finland have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

Updates

We may update these terms as the service, providers, pricing, or legal requirements change. The updated date shows when the current version became effective.
